Our Eco Lodge is located on a small island in the Kustavi archipelago – where Finland is at its most pristine. Forests, rocks and the Baltic Sea set the rhythm of the day. The lodge blends gently into the landscape and was developed with respect for nature, resources and local building culture. A Retreat, Not a Hotel

Kalliokumpu is not a traditional accommodation. It is a deliberately designed retreat for people seeking nature, tranquillity and quality. As an eco lodge with limited capacity, we preserve intimacy, tranquillity and a personal atmosphere – a luxury that has become rare today.

The Kalliokumpu Eco Lodge is located on a 4500 m² natural site, together with our blue island house where we live. Here you will find three luxurious glamping tents, a tree tent, our Tiny Cabin and a campervan parking space, perfect for explorers and nature lovers.
Immerse yourself in our Forest SPA: Enjoy the Finnish sauna, relax in the hot tub or SPA teepee, and end the day by the fire pit or in our outdoor “forest” kitchen.
In the Archipelago Kitchen, we serve breakfast and fine “foraging” island cuisine as an “On Table Experience” – each meal tells the story of the forest, the sea and the island. Walking paths and trails through the island forest start directly from the lodge. Just one kilometre away, our kayak hub awaits you in a quiet, reed-framed bay – ready for your exploration tours through the world's largest archipelago.
Our lodge is designed to be sustainable: our own deep well, small sewage treatment plant, ecological dry toilet with thermal composting and 100% solar power allow you to experience the archipelago comfortably, consciously and responsibly.
